Introduction to 4x4 Driving- Exclusive Half Day

Take control of your off-road vehicle as you get to experience the tough terrain of the 200 acres of orchards, woods and fields that the centre has to offer. With One-to-One tuition from a professional instructor you will be taught how to tackle the slopes and hills which are guranteed to get your adrenaline pumping as you try and keep control of the vehicle. The braking and clutch control is quite the opposite to on-road driving making this challenging for even the most experienced drivers.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing and theory session in the classroom. Your instructor will teach you all that you need to know about 4x4 and Off Road driving. Following the safety briefing, your instructor will give you One-to-One tuition on the demanding course of steep slopes and woodland track.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 11(However 11-15 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must also participate in the activity)
Maximum Weight:20 Stone
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

Duration
Please allow 3 to 3.5 hours for this experience and arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time.
This Experience is exclusive.

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide all safety equipment needed, but please wear comfortable casual clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome. However viewing may be limited for certain activities. There is a pleasant indoor meeting space where refreshments are available.

Weather
This experience is not generally affected by extreme weather conditions. However, if in doubt please contact the centre directly.

Availability
This experience is available on selected Saturdays throughout the year. However please speak to the centre directly to discuss alternative days.
