Take to the wheel of a mighty tractor unit and 45 foot trailer with this powerful Articulated Lorry driving experience. You will be covering roundabouts and junctions and reaching speeds of up to 50mph as you tackle the challenging course. Enjoy private tuition and learn to master the huge four over four splitter 16 speed gearbox! Feel the sense of power as you cruise down the road in this mighty Articulated vehicle.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will receive a full safety briefing before heading outside to the vehicle with your instructor. You will have plenty of time behind the wheel to cover roundabouts and junctions and reach speeds of up to 50mph! The instructor will take you through the challenging course before heading back to the centre for a de-brief.

Restrictions
Minimum Height: 1.57m (5ft 2")
Maximum Height: 1.93m (6ft 4")
Maximum Weight: 114kg (18 stone)
Please make staff aware of any fitness or medical conditions prior to your activity day. You must be fit enough to climb into a high cab, but help is available if required. A full valid UK or European driving licence will need to be brought and shown on the day. As you will not be driving on the public roads, if you do not have a licence, you may still be able to participate subject to explanation prior to the activity date.

What to Wear / Equipment
Participants and spectators should wear suitable driving footwear such as trainers or soft-soled shoes. Comfortable warm and outdoor clothing for the prevailing weather conditions, umbrella and waterproofs.

Group Size / Spectators
Each participant can bring 2 spectators free of charge. However, there will be a charge of £5pp over 2 spectators - Under 14s come free. PLEASE NOTE: Spectators can ride in the vehicles with the drivers - subject to room in the vehicle. Spectators wishing to particpate will be charged £10pp over 14yrs old.

This experience is weather dependant so it is best to check with the centre on the day of your experience if you are unsure.
