Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Kayaking Lesson Sussex will begin with a welcome brief covering the safety aspects and the skills you can expect to be practising on this great Kayak lesson. Then, once briefed you will don the correct attire and hit the water for your 3 hour session in the Canoe / Kayak, with the instructor demonstrating and allowing you to practice the basics under a watchful eye - ensuring you don't pick up any bad habits. From paddle control to efficient turns stops and manoeuvres; this great session will equip you with the skills and techniques to take the sport of Kayaking further.

Minimum Age: 16
Maximum Weight: 16 stone

(Under 18's must be accompanied by a PARTICIPATING parent / guardian.)
All Participants must be confident in the water.

Duration
Kayaking Lesson in West Sussex will last for around 3 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment (except wet suit) is provided by the centre.

You Should Bring:

• Swimming Costume
• Wet suit (if you wish)
• Towel
• Sun Block (Summer)
• Warm Clothes (to change into afterwards)

Group Size / Spectators
You may be sharing the session with up to 6 others.

Spectators are welcome to watch from the side of the reservoir.

Availability
Kayaking Lessons Sussex are available on selected weekdays and weekends, from March to November.
