Quad Bike, 4x4 Driving and Apache Rally

This is a great day half day where you will experience the thrills of three separate off road activities in Kent. First up is the Quad Bikes, you will encounter mud, jumps and climbs as you get the chance to explore over 200 acres of orchards, woods and fields. Then you will take a off road vehicle for a spin around a demanding course of steep slopes and woodland tracks, with plenty of trees to avoid! Last up is The Apache Off Road Racer- these awesome machines are light weight 'buggies' with 750cc motor cycle engines and a six speed gear box, this recipe creates a vehicle that has a power to weight ratio to match most Ferraris! You will be driving them on a grass track with normal road going tyres which creates huge amounts of sideways fun. The Apaches are two seater's and you will have an instructor by your side to make sure you get maximum enjoyment and performance from them.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre the day will begin with a safety briefing covering all the vehicles you will be driving on this action packed day. You will then explore the centres off road tracks lead by an expert instructor. You will then return to base and jump aboard a 4x4 off road vehicle and take it in turns with the rest of the group behind the wheel with an expert sat in the passenger seat. Your day will finish with a session at the controls of the Apache Rally car drifting the light weight racer around the grass track!

Restrictions
Minimum Age:11 (11-15 year old's must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian).
Maximum Weight: 20 stone
If you are particularly tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.


Duration
Please allow 3 to 3.5 hours for this experience and arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time.
Each participant will have their own quad bike. Apache Rally is shared with up to three other people and the 4x4 driving is shared with up to two other drivers.

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide all safety equipment needed, but please wear comfortable casual clothing and trainers that you don’t mind getting dirty. In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable.  Waterproofs are provided.

Group Size / Spectators
You will be sharing this activity with up to three other people.
Spectators are welcome. However viewing may be limited for certain activities. There is a pleasant indoor meeting space where refreshments are available.

Weather
In adverse weather conditions the centre reserves the right to substitute the Apache Rally Car with an alternative motorised activity.

Availability
This experience is available on selected Saturdays all year round.  However please speak to the centre directly to discuss alternative days.
