Rally Driving remains one of the most popular forms of driving experiences, as the high octane activity provides a fantastic thrill out on the gravel - as you attempt to tame the powerful engine with an expert professional at hand. With a challenging circuit and an experienced Rally Driver sat next to you, you'll be learning the skills to help you get around the gravel track as quickly and smoothly as possible! With the focus on steering control, clutch, brake & accelerator and handrbrake turns; you'll be in for a fantastically adrenaline pumping drive behind an icon of the Rally Driving world; the Ford Escort RS2000.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Rally Driving Experience York will begin with an introductory brief, covering the track, the Rally Car and the safety aspects of Rally Driving - before donning the overalls and helmet ready to start the driving in the practice area. Here, you will be learning a range of driving skills from steering control, pedal control and handbrake turns to your reaction times and sliding the car; your Rally skills will be practiced and perfected with 5 timed of the Special Stage. To finish the experience you will be treated to an instructor driven high speed passenger lap; showing you how it is really done!

Restrictions
Minimum Age:: 17
All participants must have a Full UK Driving License.

Duration
Your Rally Driving Experience in York will last for around 3.5 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment is provided at the centre, you should wear comfortable clothes and soft shoes like trainers.

Group Size / Spectators
You may be sharing your York Rally Experience with up to four other participants.
Spectators are welcome to watch.

Weather
The most extreme weather conditions may cause this experience to be rescheduled - please check with the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.

Availability
York Rally Driving is available on select weekdays and weekends from February through November.
