River Wild Full Day - For 2

Jump on-board for the ultimate white water Kayaking experience in a two man inflatable raft! Receive coaching from a highly experienced instructor and master the basics of handling these fantastic performance boats. You will be able to explore areas of the river not usually approached by beginners and because of the manoeuvrability and stability of these crafts you will quickly learn to conquer weirs, stoppers and even eddies! You will have the chance to run the river, surf the stoppers and even try your hand at slalom. Your expert instructor will be alongside you in their own craft so embrace this opportunity and battle your way down the wild rapids!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will receive a full safety briefing by your expert instructor before getting kitted up in to all the necessary safety gear. Take to the river in a two man craft and listen to the expert advice from your instructor in the craft alongside you as you battle your way down the river overcoming challenges such as weirs, stoppers and eddies. Spend plenty of time on the water and discover parts of the river not usually accessible to beginners before heading back to the centre at the end of the day for a de-brief.

Minimum Age: 8

Duration
The activity starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm, includes a light lunch at the café.

What to Wear / Equipment
All the equipment is provided (Wetsuits, Buoyancy aids, Helmets, Cagoules) but you will need to provide a pair of trainers you can get wet or a pair of wet-boots, swimwear and a towel.

Group Size / Spectators
Non-participants may wish to watch the rafting action from the comfort of the Riverside Café.

Weather
This experience may be effected by adverse weather. Please call the centre in advance to check you experience won't be effected.

Availability
This experience is available all year round depending on the water level.
