Jet Skiing is a fantastically enjoyable sport that has exploded in popularity ever since its initiation to the water sport world back in the 1970's. The Personal Watercraft that are used are magnificently responsive, powerful and great fun to ride at speed! With this great course you will have a full day to master the skills and techniques required to competently maneuver the Personal Water Craft, and you will even achieve an RYA PWC certificate at the end of the day - which is becoming an important factor in using the Jet Skis in most harbour & port facilities today.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your RYA Jet Ski Course will begin with refreshments and by getting into your wet suit and safety gear for the day. Then, it's over to the instructor as you will be having a safety brief and introduction to the vehicles you are to be powering all day! Once briefed, you'll be ready to get out on the water with your instructor where you'll be practicing all sorts of skills, techniques and maneuvers as you learn to get the most from your Jet Ski and from your experience on board one! The RYA Jet Ski Course will equip you with all the essential skills and knowledge to gain the RYA PWC Proficiency Certificate, (which is becoming more important at most harbour & port facilities) and will help you to become a safe and competent Jet Skier.

In order to obtain the RYA certificate, a fee of £15 must be paid to RYA.

Minimum Age: 12

No experience necessary.

Duration
This course will last for the entire day.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should come dressed how you like, as you will need to wear a wet suit and other safety equipment which is provided by the centre.
Some wet suits are provided by the centre - please confirm with the centre if you will need one.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators (one per person) can watch from dry land, but this must be arranged when making the booking.

Weather
Extreme weather conditions may affect the course. Please phone the centre on the day to ensure that it is going ahead.

Availability
The RYA Jet Ski Course is available all year round on selected weekdays and weekends.
