Once you have learned the basics of the age old sport, your ticket to a new world will open up and you can progress through the ranks, culminating in a PADI Open Water Course, which of course allows you to drop anchor and Scuba Dive solo anywhere in the world - but first you must learn the basics; starting with this fantastic pool based beginners session in Cambridgeshire.

Agenda

Once you have arrived at the centre your Scuba Diving Session will begin with a welcome introduction, covering the direction of the lesson, the equipment to be used and the pool in which you'll be diving. Then, once briefed and buoyed full of Scuba excitement - you'll don the equipment and hit the water for a fantastic 2 hour session, learning the basics and much more. With an expert PADI instructor taking the session, you'll be learning all the skills and techniques - from maintaining the equipment to hand signals! The lesson will be taken at your pace, and will equip you with some of the vital skills required to progress through the PADI ranks.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 10

Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to comfortably swim in the waters.
A declaration of health must be completed before the experience, with advice sought from your doctor advisable if you think you may be restricted in any way.

Duration

What to Wear / Equipment
All Scuba Diving equipment is included, all you need to bring is a towel.

Spectators are welcome to watch from the side of the pool.
