Scuba Diving Lesson For 2 Edinburgh

Learning to scuba dive is truly a fascinating experience including the feeling of weightlessness and the ability to explore a whole new world. The instructors will teach you and your lucky chosen friend everything you need to know to start enjoying swimming and breathing underwater in a swimming pool - the perfect learning environment! The course is run by highly qualified PADI instructors, so you are in safe hands and will walk away having learnt something new!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre, the staff will direct you to the changing rooms. Next, your instructor will run through the equipment, safety procedures and hand signals so you can communicate under water. Once in the water, in your small groups of no larger than 4, your will be taught and then have time to practice some of the basic scuba diving competencies. You’ll also play underwater Frisbee! This experience is perfect for anyone looking to have a go at scuba diving, and maybe progress to becoming a fully certified Open Water Diver.

Restrictions
Minimum Age:8

Anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can take part in scuba diving.

You will be required complete a medical questionnaire upon arrival, if you answer yes to any questions on the Medical form you must see a doctor prior to starting the course.

Duration
The experience will last between 60-90 minutes.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please bring your normal swimming costume and a towel, all other equipment is provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come an watch from the edge of the pool.

Weather
This experience is not affected by weather as it is held indoors.

Availability
Sessions are run once or twice per month.
