Sea Kayaking Day Trip

The successful sea-kayaking courses are gaining in popularity largely due to the relaxing calmness of the sport when compared to its brother, white water kayaking. This style is far gentler and allows the paddlers to explore far more as the adrenaline is not quite pumping at full capacity! It is recommened participants have a little experience, as the full day can be rather tiring!

Agenda

From a central meeting point your coach will take you off to the most suitable venue. You will get plenty of chance to learn new skills, as well as completing a simple journey. If conditions allow you may be involved in open crossings, paddling into sea caves, surfing waves or just enjoying the environment.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 12
Under 18's must have parental consent.
All Participants must be confident in the water.

Duration
The experience will last for most of the day.

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide you with the kayak and wetsuit and buoyancy aid etc. You will need to bring a swimming costume and towel. Also, if it's hot take some sun block and if it's not take some warm clothes to change into afterwards.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of 4 students in the group.
