Silverstone Junior Rally - Half Day

Treat your little one to a unforgettable day out! Watch as they drive thier first car and master the basic art of vehicle control, before pushing thier skills to the test on the purpose built rally stage. With expert tuition throughout, they will learn a range of new techniques from clutch control and steering to handbrake turns and powerslides. And with a high-speed passenger ride to finish of this fabulous experience, what more could they want!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing and introduction to driving. Listen to the qualified instructor as they take you on a demonstration lap, showing you how to steer, brake and accelerate, before swapping seats and letting you have a go. You will begin as you familiarise yourself with the rally stage, whilst practising your clutch control and steering. Once you have mastered the basics you will have a chance to try some thrilling rally manoeuvres, including hand-brake turns to the left and right and powerslides in either a donut or figure of eight (depending upon your progression levels). Your experience will draw to a close with a high-speed passenger ride, before a de-brief back at the centre and presentation of a personalised certificate.

Maximum Age: 17 (Must not hold a full driving license)

Duration
This experience lasts approximately 3 hours (dependent on numbers of participants).

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear warm, comfortable clothes.

Group Size / Spectators
You will share this experience with other junior participants on the day.
Spectators welcome.

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.

Availability
The experience usually takes place on selected Sundays and school holidays throughout the year, at 10am -1pm.
