This superb Silverstone Junior Thrill Choice allows them their pick of activities at the UK's number one driving venue, allowing them to gain some insightful driving knowledge that will whet the appetite for future petrol-heads in the waiting. Whether they'd like to race the off road Rage Buggies on timed laps, learn the controls of a moped before taking up motor biking, or get behind the wheel of a Renault Clio for some early car control experience; let them do it with the professionals at the UK's home of driving - Silverstone.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will start the day with a safety briefing from a Silverstone Instructor. Once briefed, you'll be ready to begin the experience - and should you choose the Rage Buggy, you will be let loose to enjoy 2x ten minute runs in the Rage Buggy on the purpose built track! If you choose the Rookie Drive / Ride you will begin a practical session, which will last for around an hour, during which you'll be introduced to the controls of the car or bike and learn how to get the vehicle moving and stopping safely. You will then practice controlling the car / scooter at low speeds, driving or riding around a simple course. When you are ready you will gradually build up speed and try a more advanced course lay out.

Partcipants do not require a license for these experiences.

Minimum Height: 4ft 10ins
Maximum Height: 6ft 3ins
Maximum Weight: 18 stone

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult whilst on the site.

Duration
You will have a safety brief and 2x 10minute runs in the Rage Buggy.
or The Rookie Drive / Ride experience will last for around 1.5hours, on a 1:2 Instructor to Student ratio.

What to Wear / Equipment
Dress in comfortable clothing as you will be wearing overalls and a helmet on the day (supplied by the centre). It is advised to wear trainers on the day.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come and watch your experience. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult or guardian over 18.

Weather
Extreme weather conditions may cause your event to be rearranged. Please call the centre on the day to be sure it is going ahead.

Availability
The Rookie Junior Drive usually runs twice per month, at the weekends. The Rookie Junior Ride usually runs twice per month, at the weekends. The Rage Buggy Experience is available around once or twice a month. Please phone the centre to find out the most suitable date for you.
