Slicks and Spokes is the perfect solution for car enthusiasts struggling to decide, or amateurs who just don't know which cars to choose! The stunning range of timeless classic cars include the Jagura E-Type, the Aston Martin DB4 and the AC Cobra. These classics have stood the the test over the years in both performance and style, allowing you to slip back in time to discover a true driving experience. These sleek classics are a stark contrast to the American muscle that comes next, in the shape of a Chevrolette Corvette and the 8L Dodge Viper, both offering immense torque and acceleration for you to control. You'll also be driving in the Porsche 91,taking your driving experience across the world as well as back in time. You will also be let loose in the Formula Ford 2000 single seater, completing your driving experience with hair raising acceleration and power to weight ratio, as used by the professionals.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing, covering all aspects to be practiced during the day, including: racing lines and the controls of each of the cars. You will begin in an Alfa Romeo as the instructor practices what has been been recently preached. To follow this you will jump in the driving seat to warm yourself up for the ultimate track drive. Once you are prepared and confident with the track you will move down into the low ride FF2000 single seater, rev the engine and go. Inches from the ground you will feel every vibration as you take on the track for 4 laps of pure exhilaration. Then comes the gem of the experience choosing the two classics you want to drive. After 6 adrenaline fuelled laps, switching cars after 3 laps, your experience will come to a halt with a debrief, where your instructor will give you feedback from your driving session.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 17
All participants must hold a Full UK or European driving licence.

Please allow approximately 2.5 hours for this experience.
You must arrive 15 minutes before your experience

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear soft soled shoes and comfortable clothing.

Group Size / Spectators
There is no limit on the amount of spectators and they are more than welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee with the drivers.
Viewing is available from on top of the pits area and in the areas designated by the staff managing the activity.

Weather
This experience can be affected by heavy rain and extreme weather conditions such as snow.
Should this happen the experience may be postponed and the centre will be rebook you a convenient date.
In the event of heavy rain, the Cobra with be substituted for a more modern car due to the Cobra's massive power / primitive suspension!

This experience is available on selected weekdays between April and October
