Skydiving lesson that allows you to jump from a plane solo from 13,500ft, but with two instructors flanking you to help guide you safely back to the drop zone!

Experience Days Skydiving: To jump from a plane with a parachute safely strapped to your back is a pretty common 'bucket list' activity. This AFF Level 1 Skydiving Course will have you freefalling from 13,500ft in just two action-packed days. You will skydive solo, but fear not - there will be two highly experienced instructors flanking you during your jump to make sure everything runs smoothly!

During this AFF Level 1 Skydiving lesson you will engage in a lot of ground training and theory before your skydive. During the jump, you'll experience close to a minute of glorious freefall with two instructors holding you on either side. When you do finally deploy your parachute, the instructors will let go, like mama birds letting their young chicks fly for the first time! At this point, you guide your parachute gently back down to terra firma, guided to the landing area via radio assistance.

This is a fantastic skydiving experience, not just an amazing one-off but a valuable first step towards completing your full AFF skydiving course.Your day will start with six hours of ground instruction where you will be taught all you need to know in order to safely jump out of a plane without an instructor strapped to you. By the time of the jump you will know about exits, stability, altitude awareness and control of the parachute canopy. When you jump two instructors will jump with you and stay by your side making sure that all is OK using the hand signals that you will have learnt in your training. After around 7000ft of freefall you will deploy your parachute and float back down to earth. Radio assistance is given under canopy during the descent and landing if necessary. This Level One of an Eight Level course if you want to continue and become a qualified skydiver.

FAQ
I want to get this as a gift for my brothers 50th, he has skydived before but wants do a solo jump not sure he is eligible as will be over 50 ?

According to the information that we have, the upper limit for the solo skydive is 55 years old. If he is over 55, I believe the supplier is highly unlikely to accept the jump. If he is between 50 and 55 then it might be possible but doctors permission would be an absolute necessity and even then that is not a guarantee, and would be at the suppliers discretion. So I would be unable to offer you any assurances that he would definitely be able to dive.

I would advise however that should you proceed with this as a gift and he was unfortunately deemed ineligible, he would be able to exchange his experience for any other on our website using the cash value, including perhaps a more suitable tandem skydive or other extreme/flying experiences.
