This magnificent tour of the River Thames is perfect for Kayakers of all abilities, enjoying the picturesque sights of our Capital City from sunset to sunrise. Around every bend a new sight is visible, enabling you to witness flowers fauna and wildlife on your two hour journey. You can admire the stately houseboats and listen to the gentle acoustics as you are propelled forward, enjoying London and the River Thames like never before.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre, either just before sunrise or just before sunset, your Thames River Kayak experience will begin by meeting the instructors and getting into your gear for the day. Then, you will begin your journey across the river from King Henry VIII’s Palace, taking in all of the picturesque beauty and the fresh air of London! With your BCU qualified Kayak instructor, the tour is perfect for people of all abilities and skill levels. After an enjoyable sunrise / sunset tour of 2 hours, you'll be back at the centre where the experience will finish.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 9
Maximum Height: 6'4"
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
Participants must be able to swim 20 metres, although the nature of the kayaks and experience will not require rolling out of the kayak.

Duration
The Thames River Kayaking Tour will last for 2 hours, but expect to be at the centre for longer.

What to Wear / Equipment

• All safety equipment is provided by the centre.
• You should come in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, with a kagool and avoid jeans if possible.
• Trainers or crocs are ideal footwear.
• Bring a spare of clothes to change into after the experience.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators can stroll along the footpath and watch!
