This magnificent Regent’s Canal tour gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the sights of London whilst indulging in the sport of Kayaking. Whilst on the tour with the qualified instructor, you will enjoy some of London's picturesque sights, such as London Zoo, Snowdon Aviary and the Giraffe House, Little Venice, the Royal Park of Regents Park, Lords Cricket Grounds and more! A fantastic way to appreciate our Capital City and the River Thames like never before.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre, either just before sunrise or just before sunset, your Thames River Kayak experience will begin by meeting the instructors and getting into your gear for the day. The Regents Canal Tour will then begin (and end at) Primrose Hill Bridge as you, the group and the BCU qualified instructor paddle towards Camden Town passing by a range of fantastic landmark sights, such as London Zoo, Snowdon Aviary and the Giraffe House. You will also pass Cumberland basin and head towards Little Venice, the Royal Park of Regents Park and Lords Cricket Grounds on this wonderful River Thames Kayaking journey.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 9
Maximum Height: 6'4"
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
Participants must be able to swim 20 metres, although the nature of the kayaks and experience will not require rolling out of the kayak.

Duration
The Thames River Kayaking Tour will last for 2 hours, but expect to be at the centre for longer.

What to Wear / Equipment

• All safety equipment is provided by the centre.
• You should come in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, with a kagool and avoid jeans if possible.
• Trainers or crocs are ideal footwear.
• Bring a spare of clothes to change into after the experience.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators can stroll along the footpath and watch!

Extreme weather conditions may affect if the experience takes place. Please call the centre on the day to confirm it is going ahead.

The Thames River Kayaking is available from Sunrise - Sunset 7 days per week.
