This fantastic mile high glide does exactly what it says, taking you up to 1 mile before Gliding back to Earth in a controlled and quite brilliant fashion! You can take your pick of flights, choosing from 3 different options that reach heights of up to 5280 ft. Assisted by your professional instructor, you can take the controls yourself and enhance your skills and gain knowledge in the age old sport of Gliding. When coupled with the picturesque countryside below, Gliding is a breathtaking experience that can be enjoyed by anyone.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will be briefed for your Mile High Glide. You will start with a meet& greet from the instructor who will be responsible for ensuring you get airborne. Then, once you've made it into the air you are free to enjoy the spectacular views of the ground below and enjoy the tranquil beauty as far as the eye can see! You have a choice within your experience as to whether you have 1 tow where you reach heights of 5280 ft with 35-60 minutes in the air, 2 tows reaching heights of 3000ft with 20 minutes per flight or finally 3 tows to 2000ft with 15-20 minutes per flight. You should allow 4 hours at the centre.

Restrictions
Minimum Height: 6ft 3in
Minimum Weight: 16 stone
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

Duration
This experience lasts approximately 4 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear casual and comfortable clothes with soft soled shoes such as trainers, no high heels. All safety equipment will be provided on the day.

Group Size / Spectators
This experience is great for individuals. There is no extra charge for spectators to attend on the day.

Weather
This is a weather dependent activity. Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be re-arranged, please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
