Take to the skies for a 25minute flight in the Tiger Moth DH82a with a qualified flying Instructor, and even take the controls yourself for a remarkable flight where you'll have unbridled views of the countryside below! The open-cockpit Tiger Moth provides the perfect flying experience for any flying fanatic or first timer, as the feeling of flying a vintage plane combined with the picturesque views of below is unquestionably good fun! Glide over the countryside taking in the spectacular, picturesque views in a historical aircraft that was used during World War II for military training.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will have a full briefing for 10-15 minutes with E.V. Ation's fully trained ground crew, this will include safety aspects and regulations of the airfield. The aircraft is operated from Redhill Aerodrome, the original home of the Tiger Club. Once the safety briefing is over its then time to take to the sky in the DH82a Tiger Moth for your 25 minute flight. There is a Restaurant/Cafeteria on site where you can take a break and have some lunch, it is open most of the day but depending on your flight time we recommend bringing a picnic. There are also many public houses locally which can be visited after your Tiger Moth experience, So come along and make a day of it!

Duration
You are asked to arrive 30 minutes before your flight time, but expect to be at the centre for around 1.5 - 2 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
All the equipment required for your flight will be provided on the day including flying jackets etc. Please wear warm, comfortable clothes with soft soled shoes and long trousers for comfort.

Group Size / Spectators
This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike. They have a resturant and Cafe on site and a viewing area for spectators, Dogs are allowed on site (but on a lead)

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.
