Rally driving has quickly become the most fashionable and desirable form of motor racing - combining frantic speed with mud sliding fun to create the most high octane experience out on 4 wheels! Its high adrenaline approach to track time reduction and extreme car sliding techniques have Rally a very attractive sport for thrill-seekers and petrol heads alike. In the morning session of this great driving day, you will get to drive the awesome Ford Escort RS2000 - which dominated the rallying world in the 70's and 80's, and is still considered one of the all-time greats. The afternoon will begin behind the wheel of either a Mitsubishi Evolution 7 or Subaru Impreza Turbo STI - both of which are turbo charged monsters that are itching to be let loose out on the off road track! Your driving will take place on range of different surfaces: including the gravel and tarmac stages.

Agenda

Your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the track and these two rally cars. Then it's time to don your race gear and get ready for some serious driving! You will move out to the practice area where your instructor will demonstrate and teach you how to perform handbrake turns, power slides and pendulum techniques in the RS2000. You'll then stop for a spot of lunch before gearing up ready for the second session in the afternoon! The afternoon is spent driving the Subaru Impreza out on the challenging tarmac circuit! The power, grip and handling of this Japanese powerhouse is truly amazing - and will hopefully improve your confidence speed across the tarmac. The experience will then finish with a white knuckle passenger ride, where the instructor will show you how it's done - demonstrating the techniques with expert precision.

Restrictions
Minimum Age:17

All participants must have a Full UK Driving License.


Duration
The Ultimate Rally Driving Day with London Rally School will last for a full day - approximately 7.5 hours, split by a lunch break.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should dress for the weather and wear trainers.

All safety equipment is supplied by the centre, including a helmet and race overalls.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of 5 pupils per car - allowing individual tuition and plenty of 'hands on driving time'.

Spectators are welcome. There is a fee of £10 per person - who will be required to sign a declaration of indemnity.
Spectators should wear long sleeved tops, long trousers and trainers (it may be muddy)!

Weather
Rally driving experiences in London are generally only affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre on the day before setting off.

Availability
Ultimate Rally Driving is available on both weekdays and weekends throughout every month of the year.
