Corporate Sales

About the Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales executive to join our extreme team working in our corporate division of Extreme Element (www.exelement.co.uk) at our offices next to Hove Station. We are seeking an individual to help expand our company corporate client base and to sell or experience gift vouchers and days out by email, phone and face to face. The chosen candidate will have a B2B sales background. Work experience in the gift voucher / experience day business is a distinct advantage.

The chosen candidate must have an excellent telephone manner and be comfortable using the Internet, writing emails (in English) and selling over the phone. The candidate will be enthusiastic, well organised and ambitious. They will relish the opportunity of working in a small innovative new media company and making their role a success. We are looking to build a long standing team that will take our company forward as the premier extreme experience day company in the UK.

Main duties:

  • Utilise our customer database to generate leads and potential corporate sales targets.
  • Identify new potential clients and cold contact them by phone and email to offer our services.
  • Manage existing and new corporate accounts with a view to retain and increase sales
  • To invoice customers take payments over the phone and to chase payments.
  • Help to ensure that clients account information is accurate and up to date.
  • Responsible for a portion of the team target and in helping to achieve the overall target.
  • To provide assistance & advice in marketing, research and site improvements as required.
  • Identify and develop products suitable for the corporate business

Experience/Aptitude/Skills Required:

  • Proven track record in target driven sales environment
  • Can demonstrate flexibility and reliability
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated
  • Business minded, target orientated
  • Able to build relationships with clients, suppliers, agents and colleagues
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player

  • Interest in Extreme Sports - preferable

Conditions and Benefits

  • OTE £20,000+

Sales / Reservations

About the Job

To provide an effective and efficient customer sales role and to ensure that every sales opportunity is maximised whilst maintaining consistently high levels of customer service and deliverance. The chosen candidate will be working as part of our ‘Extreme Team’ at our offices in central Brighton.

Main Duties

  • To do what it takes to stimulate client loyalty and ensure consistent high levels of customer service.
  • To sell products over the telephone to direct customers
  • To ensure sales and profit targets are consistently achieved and exceeded
  • To ensure that all customer enquiries are answered effectively to conversion
  • To respond professionally including all emails, ensuring enquiries are answered fully and accurately
  • Provide the a first class experience to all of our customers
  • Actively seek referrals, recommendations and business opportunities
  • To accurately plan and execute itineraries
  • To carry out administrative tasks as necessary

Qualifications Preferred

  • Higher level education (A-Level or Degree)
  • English as a first language
  • 2nd language an advantage

Experience Preferred

  • Frontline telesales experience – essential
  • Experience in maximising sales through incentives – essential
  • Extreme sports interest and / or experience
  • Travelled to other parts of the world

Aptitude/Skills:

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

Sales / Marketing Assistant Placements

We are currently looking for 2 students for a full time, 1 year placement, starting in June/July 2008. Suitable students are usually on a "sandwich year" between Year 2 and Year 3 on a Marketing Degree or similar with a keen interest in Extreme Sports.

Field: Research & development, online and offline marketing, sales support, admin
Length of Placement: 1 year

About the Job

We require a computer literate, intelligent individual who has a high level of both spoken and written English to help the team at Extreme Element. Ideally a current student studying marketing, the chosen candidate will be involved in all aspects of the daily running of a busy extreme sports agency. We also currently run some of the busiest adventure sports & holiday portals on the internet and the chosen candidate will also be required to help maintain and market these portals as well.

A knowledge and interest of extreme sports and Internet marketing would be an advantage but not required. Our company is a small but rapidly expanding start up company based in the centre of Brighton part of the world famous Extreme Brand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn about running and marketing a busy internet site whilst learning some key internet design and development skills. This is a chance for the right candidate to shine in a role which will teach you essential real world skills marketing a product that you truly believe in. You will also get the chance to join the team on regular trips to “review” our products. So far this year we have been powerboating, mountain boarding, quad biking, bungee jumping and lots more.

Training Involved:

  • Web Marketing
  • Photoshop
  • Dreamweaver,

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Computer Literate
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for the Internet & extreme sports
  • Happy to work on a computer most of the day
  • Must be able to cover your own accommodation & living expenses

Language Translators (Part Time)- Voluntary

About the Job

This year they are expanding operations into France, Spain and Germany. Running the European operations from a multi-lingual call centre in Brighton they are actively seeking students interested in voluntary translation work. This is a great opportunity for any English students proficient to a degree level of Spanish, French or German to further their language skills. For the right candidate there is a very real opportunity to secure a full time job working for a rapidly expanding UK based business active in a European market.

Students will be required to carry out translation work on marketing copy from the chosen foreign language to English. Working alongside mother tongue speakers they will have the opportunity to practice spoken language in a work / business environment.

Requirements:

  • English mother tongue
  • Degree level - Spanish, French or German
  • Enthusiastic and friendly!
