London Days Out: With this exceptional London package experience for two, you’ll see the splendour of The Royal Mews and indulge in a delightful afternoon tea at The Royal Horseguards Hotel.
To kick off your day, you’ll be able to experience the working royal stables. The Royal Mews is renowned worldwide for its exceptional working stables and prestigious collection of historic coaches and carriages. It is home to the magnificent Windsor Greys and Cleveland Bays, the majestic horses responsible for pulling these exquisite carriages, and the mews has served as the official road transport hub for the sovereign since 1760. You can see the dazzling Gold State Coach, a magnificent carriage that has been utilized in every coronation since William IV's in 1831, and took centre stage during the Platinum Jubilee in June 2022. Following your visit, you’ll enjoy a tranquil dining experience at The Royal Horseguards Hotel, banked on the River Thames. At this impressive building, you’ll enjoy a delicious afternoon tea consisting of delectable sweet treats, tasty sandwiches, and traditional scones accompanied by strawberry and raspberry jam with clotted cream. You can also take your pick of tea which includes Strawberry and Cream tea, The Royal Horseguards’ unique blend.
This unique experience blends historical sightseeing with delicious dining, making it the perfect day out in London! Whether celebrating an occasion or wanting to experience royal life, this experience promises to impress and will put a smile on your face.
Availability
The Royal Mews is open Thursday to Monday, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Attraction closes for the winter on 3rd November 2024, with selected close out dates throughout the year.
Royal Horseguards Hotel is open daily. Afternoon Tea available 13.00-16.00
