Whether you are serious about gaining a full understanding of sailing, or perhaps simply looking for a unique evening out to celebrate that special occasion, this incredible experience is perfect!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing and introduction to sailing. Listen to the qualified instructor as they run through the basic skills and techniques of sailing, before having a go at controlling the vessel yourself. With expert guidance throughout you will enjoy plenty of hands-on tuition, as well as taking a step back and relaxing within the cockpit whilst the other participants enjoy their turn. Your experience will draw to a close with a glass of white wine (for over 18s only) as you return to port.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 13
Maximum Weight: 20 Stone

If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

Duration
This experience lasts approximately 2 hours, usually between 5.30pm - 7.30pm.

What to Wear / Equipment
Due to the nature of this experience please dress for all weather conditions, including several layers of clothing, non-deck marking shoes (eg trainers/deck shoes, no black soles), shower proof jacket, hat, sunglasses and sun lotion.
Make sure you remember your camera!

Group Size / Spectators
This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.
Please Note: There will be up to 6 other participants on the experience as well.

Spectators welcome to wave off from the marina, however will not be allowed on-board.

Weather
This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.

Availability
This experience is available on selected days throughout May to September, usually taking place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
