When sat behind the wheel of a vehicle with a 7.5l engine and 6foot tyres; the world is a very different place! The Grizzly is the only one of its kind available for you to drive in the UK, and is equipped with massive 6foot tyres and a 7.5 litre engine! As featured on BBC's The One Show, when Ronnie Whelan crushed 2 cars live on TV, the Grizzly is a stunning machine and makes for a terrific day of off road driving! To accompany the giant US monster truck on this day is the scaled down Euro 'Black Ice' monster truck, where you can spend the day getting to grips with these amazing vehicles, around a purpose built course! You can even drive the crazy PowerTurns vehicle, where handbrake turning is essential!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering all aspects of the massive monster trucks you'll be driving, and the surrounding terrain. Then, once briefed you'll be ready to start the day's driving by meeting all three monsters. Grizzly, Black Ice and the PowerTurns vehicle await your command and control! You'll be free to drive each of the vehicles around the specially designed courses, putting both the vehicle and your driving skill to the test! You'll even get a go in the crazy PowerTurns vehicle, where you control each rear wheel separately with individual handbrakes! A great way to spend the day driving off road!

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 16
Maximum Weight: 20 stone
Maximum Height: 6'6"

Driving License is NOT required, though participants MUST be able to drive a manual transmission competently.

Duration
This experience will last for around 2.5 hours in total and will be shared between up to 4 people.
Actual Driving Time: Around 30 mins per person.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing and shoes that provide good grip. The site is muddy.

Group Size / Spectators
Each participant is allowed a maximum of two spectators each.
Please note that there is no indoor viewing area and that the site is not suitable for young children.
Spectators attend at their own risk.

Weather
This experience will only be affected by very extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.

Availability
The Big Toys is available on selected weekends throughout the year.
