Quad Bike, 4x4, Apache Rally and Sporting Trials

This fantastic off road experience in Kent provides the ideal platform to test four fantastic vehicles with opposing characteristics - on a challenging range of surfaces. Starting with the twist 'n' go quad bikes, you will be tearing through the woods on a guided tour - through fields, woods, orchards and much more. Then, a tad more technical and slow; you'll be traversing a burly 4x4 vehicle around a more steep and challenging track - with an instructor explaining everything from axle differentiation to placement of the wheels. Then, even more technical still; you'll be powering the sporting trials vehicle around a marked track - with points for control, speed and not touching the markings! A lot more challenging than it looks, this quintessentially British sport has long been the gentlemen's off road choice. Quite the contrary to the slow and technical drives before, you'll next be in the high speed apache racer as you control the extreme off road go kart across a flat grassed surface. With an instructor next to you, you'll get used to the skidding & sliding controls - before shaving seconds off your lap times at great speed!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing and introduction to the vehicles that you will be driving throughout your day. You will be given a complementary Tea and Coffee before starting the demonstrations of the Quad Bikes. You will be given a enjoyable lesson on the safety aspects of riding a Quad before jumping on your own and exploring the grounds for yourself. It is then time to experience the 4x4 Driving where you instructor will show you how it is done before its your turn to take to the wheel. You will also have an instructor next to you during the Apache Off Road Rally Car.

Restrictions
Minimum Age:11 (11-15 year old's must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian).
Maximum Weight: 20 stone
If you are particularly tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.


Duration
Please allow 7 hours (including lunch break) for this experience and arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Each participant will have their own quad bike. Apache racing and sporting trials are shared with up to three other people and 4x4 driving is shared with up to two other drivers.

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide all safety equipment needed, but please wear comfortable casual clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided.

Group Size / Spectators
This voucher entitles 1 person to participate in the activity, please purchase additional vouchers for more people.

Spectators are welcome. However viewing may be limited for certain activities.
There is a pleasant indoor meeting space where refreshments are available.

Weather
In adverse weather conditions the centre reserves the right to substitute the Apache Rally Car with an alternative motorised activity.
