Experience the future of travel with these fantastic Segway vehicles! Lean forward and use the simple controls to open up a world of easy movement, as you and a friend are challenged with a scenic tour on two wheels! The controls are easily mastered and the fun can be easily attained - simply lean forward and follow the guide on this brilliant tour! With a top speed of 13mph, the revolutionary machines are fun for the entire family!

Agenda

Once the two of you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing and introduction to the Segway, covering all aspects of the futuristic vehicle and the surrounding countryside in which you will be Segway'ing through! Then, once you've both been briefed up and kitted out in your provided safety gear, you'll be ready for some practice runs on the slalom and the practice course. Then, once you've both got the hang of it you'll be on a lengthy tour of the countryside, taking your Segway through all sorts of tricky terrains and muddy mounds! A great experience for two people.

Description of Venues

Dinton Pastures – Hurst nr Reading Berkshire – Discover a 306 acre Country Park through the myriad of paths, taking in the nature reserve and seeing an abundance of
wildlife & plants some unique to this area.

Runcorn - Cheshire – a woodland guided tour, taking in the picturesque sites and nature on a segway x2 personal transporter.

Haldon Forest – nr Kennford Exeter Integrate with nature & technology on the Segway forest tour taking in the extensive panorama of the Haldon forest.

Leeds Castle - nr Maidstone , Kent – the loveliest castle in the world! Take in the views of the castle on this great tour.

Restrictions
All participants must have a reasonable level of fitness.
Minimum Age:
Reading: 12 (under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult)
Runcorn: 14 (under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult)
Exeter: All under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult
Maidstone: 14 (under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult)

Weight Restrictions:
Reading:7 Stone - 18 Stone
Runcorn: 7 Stone - 18 Stone
Exeter: 6 Stone - 20 Stone
Maidstone: 7 Stone - 17.5 Stone

Height Restrictions:
Exeter: 4ft 5 - 6ft 7

Duration
The Segway Experience will last for around an hour.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please dress for the outdoors! Warm clothes if it’ s cold, stout but light footwear trainers are ideal, and a waterproof jacket. Long trousers are a good idea even if it’s hot.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to bring cameras!

Weather
The Segway Experience will cease to operate in extreme weather conditions, please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
