The Single Seater Thrill gives you the opportunity to experience an authentic racing experience at the UK's premier circuit - Silverstone. Sitting just inches from the ground and in your racing gear, you will be let loose to appreciate the true driving principles of the Single Seater. You will start out at the Stowe circuit - used by the top F1™ teams before moving on to the big stage with Silverstone's race school instructors. A fantastic driving experience in the 1600cc Ford Duratec.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed the centre your Single Seater Thrill will begin with a 10 minute brief covering the track, techniques and safety. Then you will be donning your racing gear for the day (including overalls and helmet) before getting in the 1600cc Ford Duratec for the first run of Silverstone circuit. Your first run will be behind the pace setting safety car and will last for around 8 minutes. The next run is what you've been waiting for, as you are let loose with a clear view to enjoy 10 minutes in the amazingly fast Single Seater!

Restrictions
Participants need to have held a full driving licence for at least a year which must be presented on the day.

Minimum Height: 5ft 2ins
Maximum Height: 6ft 4ins
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
Minimu Age: 17
No Maximum Age

Duration
The Single Seater Thrill will last for around 50 minutes, but expect to be at the centre for around 1.5 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear clothing that covers your arms and legs, and flat soled shoes. All safety equipment is supplied by the centre on the day.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come and watch, however if the date co-insides with a major event - only one car pass will be issued for entry in to the circuit.

Extreme conditions may cause your experience to be rearranged. Please call the automated phoneline of the centre on the day.

Availability
The Single Seater Thrill operates throughout the year, normally once or twice per month.
