The Triple Glide Experience lets you take to the skies 3 times in a glider and experience 3x 30min glides back to Earth! With the qualified instructor in the air with you, it is up to you if you'd like to take full control of the Glider yourself, or just enjoy a chauffeur driven (flown) tour of the countryside! Once towed up to 2000 foot you will be free to take in all of the amazing views and the stunning scenery, on 3 different occasions! this great experience also forms the first part of the full BGA Training Cyllabus.

Agenda

This experience is for 3 separate gliding excursions. Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your gliding experience will begin with the necessary paperwork, covering the declaration of flight. Then, once the paperwork is complete you will meet the instructor and have a short safety briefing before getting ready for the first of the 3 main events! You will make your way to the launch point and meet the launch marshall who is responsible for ensuring you get airborne`, and be ready for your first of 3 glides. Once aloft, you can expect to glide from 2000 feet, which will take around 30 mins. You will be encouraged to take the controls yourself by the instructor if you feel comfortable, but it is of course entirely up to you.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 14 Years Old
Maximum Weight: 104kg, (230lbs, 16.3 stone)
Maximum Height: 190cm (6'3") - Any height above this is difficult, please enquire if you are unsure.
You will need to seek medical advice if you suffer from any conditions such as epilepsy.
If you satisfy the requirements for a driving license then you are generally OK to glide.

Duration
Expect to be at the centre for around 4 hours, with around 45 to 90 mins flying time depending on weather conditions.

What to Wear / Equipment
Comfortable casual clothes are fine. All equipment is provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch you depart on your flight.

Weather
Rain, high winds or poor visibility restricts gliding. You should call the centre on the day before setting off.

Availability
Gliding is available at weekends and on some weekdays from April to September.
